Composer Joshua Burel and I have been working on a semester long residency with the music students of Albert Einstein High School in Kensington, MD. Together with Instrumental Music Director, Brendan Kelly, we have commissioned a piece from Burel entitled "Let this Darkness be a Bell Tower." The residency will culminate in a performance of the piece with the students and myself as clarinet soloist.
